Movies

Today I went to a dinner thing with my friend that's moving to Italy because the unionville arts program isn't good enough for him :P

After that we went to watch a movie; Haywire was what we watched (bad movie, very confusing story line that even if I understood it would probably suck).  But after that one of my friends decided to movie hop (Going into another movie), and the rest just went with it (Going into Underworld secretly).  No one was around, and even if people were around they probably wouldn't care because it was the last run of movies, and it was almost over anyways.  But being the good-boy that I am, I still felt this weird urge of "Noooooo, it just ain't right!"  I still went with it because they were my ride home and social stuffs.  But coming back on the ride home, there were many things that went through my mind.  Lots of things I thought of before and was taught in sunday school.  I guess it's actually harder than it sounds when you gotta make that decision to do right or do wrong.  Although no one would've cared enough to stop us, there's still this pulsing wave of guilt in m.  I'll always be looking back to this night and analyzing what I could've/should've done and also what my values truly are.  Fun AND productive night I must admit though.  :)

But one thing I do know is that the holy spirit of God is abundant in me, and that's always a good thing to know and think back to :) .

My family aren't christian, so I find it really difficult for my parents to understand who Jesus is epsecially when we cannot communicate properly with our language barrier. A perfect example is this fine saturaday morning, I went into my living room to find my mother in tears and though I tried to give her a bible verse for encourgement, she had rejected it. Later on the day, a woman from the chinese side whom my mother and I had met during a visit to church has called to check up on how my family has been. She said God has called on her heart to double check how we have been doing and man... I was thinking the perfect timing God has done. She has offered to tell my mother about the gospel though momma chang avoided the call, God is continuing to pursuade after my mother.
