We're puppies

So I've finally started my 1500 word essay, and I stumbled upon this analogy of humans and their thirst for knowledge.

"There is no way a human can know all there is about life, the universe and everything. Think of ourselves, if you will, as a puppy on the floor of a scientist's lab. The puppy may look up at the equations on the chalk board, be fascinated about the lines and numbers, but there is no way the puppy will ever hope to understand the equation, the mental capacity is just too small to comprehend it.:"

To me this reminded me the fact that there are things that we'll never know why God (the scientists) does things the way he does because we're just puppies that simply do not understand the way that God thinks and that he's way beyond our imaginations.

Happy Psalm 107 Day, folks!

It's been a while since I posted here, but then again, it's been a while since I've read some psalms. And i just wanted to blog tonight cause it's thanksgiving and where i left off in Psalms happened to be Psalm 107 - a psalm of thanksgiving. And so i hypothetically high fived God when i saw that.

I guess one recurring phrase in the psalm was: "And He delivered them out of their distresses."
What a beautiful line! I just thought that it'd be cool to share this, cause we did just do gospel night and God did deliver us from our sin - bringing us to a new life of rest and freedom. And I guess I'm just thankful for the joy God's given me in Him and rest He lavishes us with!

Sabbath

Sabbath is a funny thing that has come up recently. Here is the question for everyone,
What is the Sabbath according to the Bible? There are references in the old and new testament.

Challenge issued :D

your wife is ugly

There are some things we never hear people say. One of those things is, "your bride looks horrible," or "your wife is ugly". It's something we don't say because it's rude and is especially hurtful considering what the groom sees when looking at his beloved. God showed me something recently and that's all I can hear now, "your wife is ugly". Not shirley. God showed me that the Church is the Bride of Christ and people are constantly saying she's screwed up or they don't want to be with her and ultimately, they are saying she's ugly. And I get really upset about that. How can I let people say that about my friend's wife?!

I guess that's my challenge for people these days? Do you think the Bride of Christ is beautiful. Jesus sure does, why don't you?

The Movements of the Spirit / What's your Poison

Some days I pray and things are pouring out and sometimes it's the hardest thing in the world because I sound like a stupid person :P Sometimes I feel like I got it all down and then there are moments when I know I don't. It's funny to me how the Spirit moves and how often that isn't really an indicator of anything. It's not a signal of how intimate i am with God and it's not and indicator that I've been praying any more or less or reading any more or less or how I feel about anything. The weird thing for me is that God just does what he wants. It's funny when I think about how I'd expect to feel different or act difference as if God's actions are dictated by my decisions as if God were food and if I eat right I'll feel good and if I eat bad then I won't. To some degree it's true but the reality of God being a person and personal is that those actions and reactions are not strict. If I am bad he can still be good to me. If I am good be can choose to let bad happen. The movements of the Spirit and the actions of God are not manipulated by man but they are promised by God and that's where the structure does come into play. It's a function of his will though. He goes where he wants. He speaks through people however he wants (whether mature sounding or stupid sounding) and it's because he is God and infinitely big. Just something I've been realizing and being ok with, which leads me onwards to the next part.

What is your poison? The question that was brought up is this, "What's your porn?". It's a cute question God asked me recently and it made me smile. We've been dealing with real porn but that isn't the issue today. Now I watch something else with eagerness and God is happy to deal with that all the same. The up and down motion is that of market fluctuations and I'm looking at numbers with desire. Maybe it's an asian thing? The question stands though, what's your porn? What do you desire more of and dream of and fill yourself with. I know God is dealing with it and each day I know in my heart that there is a battle at hand (teehee not battle in hand :P) I think people do have to take a look at what they lust for with their eyes and understand what it is that they see and look at and look for even.

I know that money is just a game to me but I don't think it's any less bad for me. It's all about screwing myself :P

911 Thought

Dunno about anyone else, but has anyone noticed how mass murderer Osama Bin Laden went down without a fight?  Ever since I heard that news, I was personally really puzzle as to what was going on inside his head.  My thoughts fall somewhere along "Why would a mass murderer just stand there and get shot."

Maybe U.S just barged in at the wrong time :p, but I was thinking, could he possibly see that what he did was wrong, and was looking for a way of redemption?  (Thus him going down without a fight)

That was just my sudden 9/11/2011 thought :) Anyone else thinking the same/something different?

I was washing dishes and I was thinking how many times God ever says please in his speech.  So after I finished washing the dishes, I opened up bible gateway and searched it up.  Of course, none of them are spoken from God, and all of them are from man to God.  Then I stumbled upon this verse:

Psalm 115:3
Our God is in heaven; he does whatever pleases him.

And it was a good reminder of how merciful he is to me, and how we are the beggars at his feet.

Yeah :P  - Brian

Friday, August 12, 2011

hey everyone,
I just wanted to write a bit before bed. It's been a long long week for me but I really thought it was an good week for various reasons. It was really humbling for me because I realized how many issues I still need to deal with in terms of smoothing out the rough edges in my life. I think there were some unnecessarily harsh things and I don't really know what to do about it. Sometimes I feel like I was doing the table flipping Jesus thing and I can see why Jesus only did it that one time. It really is hard to find the right time and place for it. This week was good. I felt very human and small and that was good because I know it is my rightful place as a servant.

I was really encouraged by you guys though. The GM team and Vanna and whoever else still reads this. I'm happy you guys all took your jobs seriously and I have lots of respect for that. Wanting to useful and being at the right places at the right times. Prioritizing work over play in recognizing what is important. I'm blessed to be able to work with you guys.

my friend showed me this song and I thought it was pretty awesome!

Hai.

I was looking at my blogspot when I stopped by this one! It seems like no one is posting anything, so im going to write something for the very first time.  tehehe

Anyways school can be totally draining. I am just so consumed in friends, homework and etc. that I forget who/where I am. Like where I am positioned in God's view. Another thing I worry about is just being afarid of failing or just not being able to do it if God has called me to do something. Wanting that strength from God like how the sermon was describing it during sunday school about the eagle and how the eagle embraces the horrible weather. Finally to soar through the sky.

just a thought for today

i should be studying, but haha ;)

stayin' classy

So I was listening to this song and I was wondering, what does it mean to be a classy Christian? I guess it's something I'll just put it out there for you folks to comment on.

Wednesday, June 1, 2011

dunno why I couldn't comment on Jones' post so I'll just do it this way.

I think it's really cool you care for people that you don't know and haven't met. I think that is where my love is lacking. I'm happy there are people like you.

Prayer Answered

If you went to Dido a few weeks ago we had a fast for Japan. And there was planning and praying before this night started. Just figuring out the logistics and stuff. And iunno, I guess I began praying for lost souls in Japan and wondered if it would be cool if God actually answered my prayer over someone else's soul. And during Dido, man...we did pray for non Christians. All of us...even if we didn't know their faces or names.

I believe our prayers were answered after receiving a Global Update email. Here is an insert/ summary:

Basically, it's about this one young man in Japan, like early 20s, who met one emotional care worker and basically after seeing the kindness of the Christian. He had a 3 hour talk with him and decided to accept Christ.

Still need to reflect a bit more on this and hope we can all do the same.

My Dream: Worship

Hey guys, this blog i just wrote and realize it's on the same topic as Nathan's song. I thought it'd be an appropriate repost.

My Dream: Worship
So I had a dream this morning. I was a DJ and I was choosing songs for people to dance to. After picking out of the small album of CDs I found myself running out of songs. I was starting to wonder how other people do it. I was wondering what songs I could pull from the small selection. I was wondering why this was so hard. Then my partner looked at me and said, "Why don't you just tell me what songs you want?" I replied, "But we might not have that song." He replied, "We can always download it, just pick good songs."

I paused and realized for a moment, I'm not sure what songs I even want. After realizing the number of possibilities and the freedom I began to choose songs and it as great. It was soo good that everyone was dancing and having fun. Then the dance floor turned into a stage and david copperfield was there and he was dancing and doing magic tricks. They weren't so much tricks. It was more that he made things appear outta nowhere. It wasn't just things that were cool, it was a personal thing. He was teaching a couple how to dance and he pulled out a guitar and the man recognized it as his old guitar that was gone a long time ago. He began playing and him and his wife were dancing. Then the stage began to fill with people all receiving something personal and began to sing. One choir got up there and began singing, "If you had the chance, why wouldn't you bring your show to the center..." As the repeated their song i saw a quartet standing at the side. It was Gabe Lam, Joel from the viet church, jeremiah from my softball team and one other person (I'm not sure who). I could see that they had their instruments and sheet music, but they were standing off to the corner and I thought about the song being sung and wondered why they weren't singing. Then i realized they were just waiting for their turn. In the big party where everyone is already singing and dancing, they are waiting for their turn as they stand at the side quietly. I begin to sing to them and grab their music stands and instruments and then I wake up.

It's a cool dream, eh? I'm really happy I had a chance to write this out too. The first bit is about me and my own heart. It pains me to see people get stuck in an artificial boundary. There is such freedom in knowing that our God is infinite. If we'd only connect to his heart we'd realize that there is an infinite potential for us to be used by him. No longer stuck because we don't have enough songs and not enough ability, he is like the internet and can provide all the songs we'll ever need. Even more so, God is also David Cooperfield and not only invites and teaches people to dance he gives them more so they can worship and even more than that, we begin to sing new songs that invite others to forget their reservations and the comfort of standing on the sideline and we empower them to come to the centre, the throne, the very presence of God and worship.

This is our God.

You are my strength

Well I've been kind of swamped lately with work for the last couple weeks and I guess i happened to stumble upon this song and thought it was really cool. It's really calm and soothing, but I guess the lyrics really speak out loudly to me. Especially one of the verses preceding the chorus, "I keep on falling short, Please be my strength...cause I don't have any more". I guess i find it kind of beautiful and kind of encouraging too, cause it's an earnest plea just for God to take over, especially when being swamped with stuff - God does carry us through time after time again.

Lady Gaga's "Judas"

I saw this on youtube. This type of thing reminds me of what we don't do. It reminds me what other must feel when people talk crap about their religion. I honestly felt like punching stuff when I watched it. Especially the part where the guy talked about how Christians don't know about their own religion and how we're confused. Talking about the Mary Magdaline story, "in all the ways it told in the new testiment?" and the "study" that found that atheists and agnostics know more about Christianity and religion then Christians do.

I had to watch this to balance me back out.

Lovely guitar solo.

Satan Sings... The Father of All Lies

Hey, thought that I should share this video to everyone.
It's super cute!
My friend (I don't know if she would feel comfortable if I posted her name on the net), shared it with me as a reminder of what Satan does and is doing.

Like how it was a good reminder for me, I hope that you guys will also be reminded of what Satan wants and that we don't fall into his plans.

This week, I've been feeling pretty discouraged about some stuff, but at the same time, people have been encouraging me to not feel discouraged with whatever. And I just have to remember to not feel discouraged because I can very easily fall into Satan's trap. Or like what my sister said, "...you are falling into the traps of Satan and how he will intentionally trick you into feeling guilt" (Me: Which I was feeling throughout the whole week) "You need to go to the Lord to release you from this burden and if you continue to listen to the lies and temptations, you will sin"

Yeaaaaah.

Listen :)

Promises

Hey Guys~

In today's worship set we sang "Your Grace is Enough" and there is a part that goes,

So remember Your People
Remember Your Children
Remember Your Promise, Oh God.

I really love this part and it's something that is not just about God remembering, it's about his people, it's also a reminder to me. What does it mean that we're his people and What does it mean to be his Child? I think those questions are interesting and I fully expect that you have answers for this, but the hard question is this, "What promises of God have you claimed for yourself?" What promises does God want to fulfill? You can't tell him to remember and have no idea for yourself, right?

Take some time and think about this. It is something that has really helped a few of us in our walks. It is a good step towards knowing the specific will of God in your life when you come to know the promises he has for you.

Facebook

A Facebook post: Can anyone tell me why it is so hard for people to pray, but easy to swear? Why it is so hard to re-post a status about God, but easy to post gossip? Why we can worship a celebrity, but not Jesus? Gonna ignore this? Most of you won't re-post this. The Lord said, if you deny me in front of your friends, I will deny you in front of my Father. I posted. Will you?
A comment about the post: Who the hell worships a celebrity? Those are just crazed fanatics, there's a difference. Why is it so hard to pray? Because there are things we don't necessarily need that requires "praying". Why is it so hard to re-post a status about God?... Because not everyone believes in him, not everyone is a Christian or Catholic.
If you can provide SCIENTIFIC proof, not stories that are in the bible, that God is real, then I have no reason to believe in him. I'm atheist. but I'm starting to get tired of people like this targeting atheists for not believing in God like it's a crime. It's our choice not to believe in certain things, not yours.

cravings

Sometimes I get a craving for McDonalds or some other really fatty food. For the most part of my life I thought that everyone gets those but more and more I find people telling me they this fastfood or greasy food is disgusting. Why is that? I don't know. Maybe it's me but I think it's delicious. I'd feel bad in my mind by my mouth would be happy and my tummy too. People ask me, "don't you feel gross after eating it?" No, I don't. I am jealous of those people (if it's true and they aren't just saying the culturally acceptable thing, which i do suspect) and I wish I didn't crave such stupid things.

This really is one of those things with me. The "story of my life" so to speak. I crave stupid stuff all the time. That's how sin is, a big craving and I often don't feel bad about it. I know it's bad and I understand how the universe works but feeling, no, i don't feel bad. I understand the transformational life and that's why I wonder how people deal with this. I know that i crave less and less and that's the death to the old self that I see but it's weird to me when I feel like people don't crave sin. I don't have many thoughts beyond that. I'm jealous of those that don't like sin. I'd be nice if I could like it less too.

So feel free to pray that I love God more. That way I'll crave less.

Follow Up Questions: Love Wins

So I wanted to follow up with some thoughts on my previous post.

Who goes to Heaven? Did Gandhi go to Hell? What does the Bible say about it?

After knowing who's going where, what do you do with a person that is going to hell?

Inches

Hey guys,
I guess you can take a look at the attached vid. It's an old movie I saw a while ago and there is the classic inspirational speech. This is a movie that more or less went unnoticed I think but I do like this speech. I guess I've been lacking that fervor. I've been giving up some inches I think.

2:45-3:24

"When we add up all those inches, that's going to be the difference between winning and losing. between living and dying. I'll tell you this, In any fight it's the guy that's willing to die that is going to win that inch. And I know that if i'm going to have any life anymore it's because i'm still willing to fight and die for that inch. because that's what living is. the 6 inches in front of your face."

I think this is what it feels like to get older and It's nice to be reminded of this while i'm getting older. I don't want to be that guy that doesn't wake up and fight for every inch. There is never an excuse for getting old. It's why I need people like you guys to go that inch with me and I hope i can do that for you guys. I hope that we can fight for those inches together~

Hey : D

I was just wondering what you would say to someone that thinks that church is just all brainwashing.  After thinking about it for a bit, I see why they would think that, since there are many unanswered things about Christianity such as "Why doesn't God just smite satan" or something else that i don't remember at the moment.

Brian C
It's been a while since I last posted something (Which wasn't an actual post) Hahahaha This week, I've been meditating on the following verses:

"But blessed is the man who trsts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him." - Jeremiah 17:7

"Trust in the Lord with all Your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight." - Proverbs 3:6-5

"Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD'S purpose that prevails." - Proverbs 19:21 (Coincidentally, Tim Lee emailed us this verse as well)

"I can do everything through Him who gives me strength." - Philippians 4:13

These verses really helped me get through the week 'cause this week was a tough one (For me). Tests in general, literacy test, projects and next week they're distributing report cards... I guess I'm slowly getting more and more frustrated with myself. Though I keep reminding myself of these verses, I don't know, in the end, I still get frustrated.

I remember during English class today, I was getting super frustrated at the marks I was getting because for English, I usually get high marks but after getting back my work and seeing my final mark for this term, I guess I was really upset?

When I got home to turn on my lap top, I double clicked on my Google Chrome and to my surprise, the first thing I did was not watching anime, but I went on biblegateway.com instead. I didn't know why, but for some reason, I was reminded of Psalm 43:5, "Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so distrubed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God" After remembering about that, I felt at ease(?) / peace(?).

Somethings are just really (Super duperly) frustrating, and never ends up the way we want it to be, but I guess we just have to remind ourselves that God's way is the best, and to just trust God with whatever.

Oh how he loves us.

I haven't heard this song before and I think earlier in my life I wouldn't have liked it as much but I guess it's the feelings that I find interesting about our society and why these things matter. One of my friends and I agree that often times there is an emotional high that comes and turns into a shallow faith. There are too many people that think of Jesus as their boyfriend when our relationship is so much more. But that is our society and we feel a lot of stuff and that's a good thing. I think being married has helped me with that. Feeling i mean. WE feel and that's good. It, love and intimacy, is one of the pivotal things that makes Christianity different than the other religions.

So yeah, feel the love and accept it but don't let the feelings overshadow the understanding of his character. Love isn't just a feeling or emotional reaction, it comes from knowing him and that's one of the nice things about good songs.

Life Situations #1

I was listening to a sermon and the guy was talking about how it's good to lay out situations and see how faith plays a part in the answer and how we are challenged by them. Let me toss one out that came up today.

I got a friend that is looking to move in with his girl friend before getting married. I'm asking, "what do you think?". feel free to ask any relevant questions on the topic. He intends to get married in about 2 years but is looking to move in now.

Being a Gentleman

This may be more relavent to the guys here. But something that was brought up to me was how we treat fellow sisters in Christ. I was thinking about it today because of something that happened yesterday and maybe I'll bring it up with you guys. Like what it means to be a gentleman and to treat fellow sisters in Christ as Christ would. Not with contempt or with pride.

denial

Denial is an interesting thought as this morning I was wanting to eat Jalapeno Cheddar bagel with some smoked salmon cream cheese. that's probably my favourite bagel right now. unfortunately, it doesn't really fit into my diet. So i walked past the Great Canadian Bagel where I usually get it and then it came to me, deny yourself and take up your cross. I thought of how denial is an active thing and in this case we're asked to do it to ourselves. We just don't let ourselves have our way. Our desires are often misdirected. Our feelings are often clouding our judgment. Denial is part of rising above all that be seeing holiness and righteousness as greater than our carnality and being with God himself as greater than satisfying our desires.

I think I'm just going to write tonight. I'm sitting in my chair listening to some worship song and I think I want to just exhale a bit. I think life has been really good. I'm really happy with a lot of things that are happening around me. I sat in on nice sunday school class today. i feel like sunday school is really rolling along nicely. There is something I forgot and haven't done in a while.

Once upon a time people would ask me how my day was going and I would say, "best day i've ever had" and because everyday i'm getting closer to God and that was true, either through intimacy or through the fact that I'm older and one day closer to heaven. here, this week God has reminded me of that. I'm good to be unphased by the crap that happens but even nicer to see the hand of God and be filled with joy in seeing it. Now i realize that isn't less true but I've not said it out loud and i think it's because i'm conforming to the workplace. something i'm going to change.

i'm going to read the Bible a bit. it'll be nice to just read with no objective tonight. wait... forget that, i have nehemiah for 7up... no... not tonight. forget it. I'm just going to read something random. it'll be date night with Jesus :D

"Brothers, what we do in life... echoes in eternity. " -

East Asia Sharing "Notes"

Ou, exciting stuff.
I'll be honest that I didn't really take notes...
I sort of don't understand my notes as well.... =.=;;

East Asia Sharing

  • Drama - Spiritual Warfare (East Asia drama/The great commission drama)
  • Plot Twist: Like Cliffhangers (Not sure what'll happen the next day)

^ So, basically during the sharing, they were saying that a lot of "Drama" occured and most of them ended as a plot twist. But in the end, things eventually "even out"

For example, one of the stories they said was that one day, the school leader-person changed/added a residency rule for foreign students that they were prohibited from living outside of Campus. Due to that rule change, they couldn't really have a fellowship group/bible study group, so they prayed about it and decided to be-friend the school leader-lady. Eventually, they ended up persuading her to let them live outside of campus and yeeeeeeeuh.

Then later on during the sharing, the guy brought a really interesting point: "Are you trying to be like Christ or training to be like Christ?" Well, he didn't exactly say that, but t'was something like that. So basically, he was saying how, if you're trying to be like Christ, you won't be able to get the result you want; which is to be like Christ. But if you're training to be Christ, then you will. Hahahaha~ Well, to understand it better, the analogy he used was, "If you want to be an athlete, then trying to be an athlete won't get you there, because you're trying to imitate what an athlete does (I guess it's sorta like... you'll only get the surface layer of it?) ; while training to be an athlete is more like, eventually, you'll get the result?"

I don't know how he said it :P Sorrrrrrryyy :(

Sorry for not really taking notes, it was a very... edge-of-the-seat interesting thing to listen to. The sharing was really~ interesting. It's a joy to hear people talk about their experience(s). ^^

Mmm, I guess that'll be it? Hope that I'll be able to blog/update more ^^

Running versus Running

I guess this is something that Bryan and Dave might care about but then again I’m not sure if they share the same issue with me since I’m n00b at running. This morning I was running to the bus stop because I left the house a bit late. Honestly, I thought I was running kinda hard since it was about a minute later than I’d like to be and making up a minute is hard so I figured I’d run. As I got a fair distance I was tired and out of breath I started walking briskly. Then it happened, I saw one guy running to the stop. He was close and I could tell he was running because he might miss the bus. I exploded forward and ran hard. As I was running I could see the bus pulling out and I ran even faster. The weak sauce mechanisms that hold me back turned off and I was flying. I caught the bus and as I got on the bus I could feel blood rushing to my legs still. I had the heighten sense of awareness that usually comes with situations like that and I realize that I often think I’m running my hardest but I’m really just jogging. As a Christian I mean. Moments when we face off with the devil and we win it makes us wonder why we lose at all. When we look at life and overcome and not get entangled by the “failures” we begin to wonder why we ever cared to begin with. I’ll leave the thought off here. Any times you guys succeeded or failed recently?

Beautiful Things

This picture is interesting. You have skulls and dead things that make up a flower into something beautiful. I guess I've been learning that it's not really about how well I do things or how well I do Bible studies but it's about how God works through me. I learned this from leading my last Bible study. It felt really dry and I felt really discouraged during the study. I didn't know what to say at times and it felt like I was just asking questions that I didn't know the answer to. But at the end of the study, one person spoke up and said that his perspective of God was changed because of the study. CRAZY RIGHT? I thought I was doing a horrible job but somethow God made it work. I can't take any of the credit. Maybe that's the point...we can't have any of the credit even if we tried. So yea...God does His thing through us.

Here's the real song...hope you guys are blessed by it.

dexter: season 3

So i've gotten to seasons 3 of dexter. the season i keep hearing that it's not as good as the others. I knew this would be the reason why but now that i'm 3 eps in and the story continues to develop I am pretty sure. Why don't people like it? Because they aren't married. lol~ pretty simple to me but the idea of identification is lost on most people. when dexter kills that pedophile for stalking Aster i totally get that. It resonates as I know i would do that for my kids. the lion protects his cubs and it goes much deeper than the justice of right and wrong. it goes into the paternal instincts of all fathers and our Father. It's funny for me to see this and realize part of the reason people don't appreciate God is because they don't get it, what it means that God is our Father and what that means. When we see then it becomes personal.

my first game

so i played my first game of star craft 2 this past weekend. Just one game. It's interesting to me to see all the things i had to deal with. insecurity. confusion. all thing things that i theoretically know and yet find trouble putting into practical action. It's like being a Christian, right?

Anyway, I figured I should share some thoughts so I don't hoard the experience to myself. One thing I realized is that actions per minute were important to me. when I was younger (your age?) I played star craft 1 and i didn't do a lot of stuff. my 30 actions per minute or 2 seconds per action you could say. Now I would imagine my apm to be closer to 100 as there are quiet a few things i am doing. What's the difference between then and now is not that my hands are faster, but the number of necessary actions has increased. It used to be ok to play at a slow rate because there wasn't much i wanted to do. Now I got tons to do and not enough time to do it all. Noob christians are like that, they think there isn't anything to do so they do nothing. The challenge is then showing them the loveliness of being one with the Lord and seeing what the Father does and then we will be compelled to do more and more and more until we reach 300 apm which is already considered the minimum level for pro gamers. :D

Enoch's Gym Goals

so it's been a little while since posting here and I guess i should at least say "hi". Anyway, I've been trying to get back into the gym and getting into the gym list style. I think that's the biggest change in my approach is to have specific goals and push towards them. I guess I'm no longer playing this game for fun but to improve.

I feel like i should write something since I haven't in a while. Here's a copy of my goals.

Muscle Goals Exercise

Row 45 Row

What I learned today

When you have an ISU due the next day and you haven't started much, I think is when the gears start kicking in and you're forced to go full speed.

How I've Been Doing

Hey guys,

Well, I just got back from Hong Kong yesterday. Annoying part is that I get tired easily now and I start to zone out when it gets to 4 PM. Well, school's been okay. I'm still figuring out my role in the school and still struggling to really establish a kingdom mindset at school. It just seems like it's harder to live for God at school as opposed to maybe church. Iunno why...more distractions I suppose? I guess I'm still figuring out my own cell group at Didomi and still struggling with getting to know my co-leaders. Kinda realized with ministries or serving, that everything's not going to be given to me on a silver plate. Right now, it's not with all the ministries at school and church. We'll see how it goes and I just really hope for more faith this year in God with my ministries. Faith in what? I don't know yet. I think I'm still figuring it out.
