It's been a while since I last posted something (Which wasn't an actual post) Hahahaha This week, I've been meditating on the following verses:

"But blessed is the man who trsts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him." - Jeremiah 17:7

"Trust in the Lord with all Your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight." - Proverbs 3:6-5

"Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD'S purpose that prevails." - Proverbs 19:21 (Coincidentally, Tim Lee emailed us this verse as well)

"I can do everything through Him who gives me strength." - Philippians 4:13

These verses really helped me get through the week 'cause this week was a tough one (For me). Tests in general, literacy test, projects and next week they're distributing report cards... I guess I'm slowly getting more and more frustrated with myself. Though I keep reminding myself of these verses, I don't know, in the end, I still get frustrated.

I remember during English class today, I was getting super frustrated at the marks I was getting because for English, I usually get high marks but after getting back my work and seeing my final mark for this term, I guess I was really upset?

When I got home to turn on my lap top, I double clicked on my Google Chrome and to my surprise, the first thing I did was not watching anime, but I went on biblegateway.com instead. I didn't know why, but for some reason, I was reminded of Psalm 43:5, "Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so distrubed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God" After remembering about that, I felt at ease(?) / peace(?).

Somethings are just really (Super duperly) frustrating, and never ends up the way we want it to be, but I guess we just have to remind ourselves that God's way is the best, and to just trust God with whatever.

  1. that's cool~ We eventually see that the "why are we mad?" is the better question than, "why did I get this mark?"

It's like what God said to Cain. If we do what's right then what we do is acceptable to God. There is nobody to impress beyond God (and that includes impressing yourself)
